Overview of AL: Personal Fitness
AL: Personal Fitness represents a new approach to physical education and the concept of personal fitness. The basic purpose of this course is to motivate students to strive for lifetime personal fitness with an emphasis on health and wellness. Students improve their fitness within the class and learn the process of becoming fit. The concept of wellness, striving to reach optimal levels of health, is the cornerstone of this course. Students design their own personal fitness program. To successfully pass and complete this course, learners must read, watch, and interact with all course materials and components.
