Goal: Focus on how Maribel and Enrique talk about where they go and how they get there. Then practice these words and ir a + infinitive to talk about types of transportation and what you will do.
STRATEGIES
Cuando lees. Think about timing. Consider timing while reading. How long will Enrique's plan take? Will they see Trini? Why or why not?
Maribel: Sí. Y ya es tarde. Enrique, ¡por favor!
Enrique: ¡Vale! ¿Y cómo vamos a llegar allí? ¿En autobús?
Enrique puts the T-shirt in his bag so Maribel can open the map.
Maribel: Podemos empezar aquí en el parque. El centro comercial está allí. ¿Cuál es la calle?
Enrique: Calle Poveda. ¡Es fácil! Tomamos el autobús al centro. Vamos a pie a la biblioteca —aquí. Mi madre está allí. Ella tiene coche. ¡Llegamos al centro comercial en coche!
Maribel: ¡Pero, Enrique! Son las once y cuarenta y cinco. Vamos a llegar tarde. ¿Qué voy a hacer?
Enrique: ¡Ah! El autobús setenta y cuatro va al centro comercial. Llega aquí a las doce y llega al centro comercial a las doce y media.
Maribel: ¡Vale!
